Baotou Steel has a complete rare earth industrial system

Recently, it has been learned from Northern Rare Earth that, as of now, Baotou Steel has a complete rare earth industrial system, which can produce 11 major categories, more than 50 types, and nearly 1,000 specifications of products.

In 2017, Northern Rare Earth completed the industrial layout of 30,000 tons of magnetic materials, 15,000 tons of polishing materials, 3,000 tons of hydrogen storage materials, 1,000 tons of luminescent materials, and 50,000 cubic meters of catalytic materials. The production capacity of magnetic materials and polishing materials ranked first in the world.

The rare earth industry has formed a rare earth beneficiation capacity of 250,000 tons/year, a smelting and separation capacity of 80,000 tons/year, and a rare earth metal capacity of 10,000 tons/year. The production capacity of rare earth raw materials ranks first in the world, and the "Baiyun Obo" trademark has been awarded as a well-known trademark in China.
